Grapefruit Gin Mosa || Mix It Up! with Table & Vine

No New Years or Brunch is complete without a bubbly drink, and these grapefruit gin-mosas are mimosa’s classier and more mature cousin. The combo of fresh grapefruit juice, grapefruit soda, gin, and your favorite bubbly is a refreshing twist even the most basic brunchers will appreciate.

Ingredients:

1 1/2 ounce gin
1 1/2 ounce grapefruit juice
2 ounce prosecco
1/2 ounce rosemary simple syrup
Garnish: Grapefruit wheel
Garnish: Rosemary sprig

Directions:

In a champagne or wine glass. add the gin, grapefruit juice, rosemary syrup, and prosecco.
Stir together gently with Rosemary sprig.
Garnish with a grapefruit wheel.

Rosemary Simple Syrup

1 cup sugar
1 cup water
Rosemary leaves

Combine water, sugar, and rosemary leaves in a small saucepan. Bring to a boil, stirring until sugar dissolves. Simmer for 1 minute.
Remove from heat and let syrup steep for 30 minutes.

Pour syrup into a sterilized glass jar through a mesh strainer to remove rosemary leaves; let cool.
