Blood Moon Sangria Recipe | Table & Vine

This Blood Moon Sangria is a beautiful deep red. The harmonious flavors of Velvet Devil  Merlot, pomegranate, and citrus come together in this drink to eclipse your taste buds. It’s refreshing, it’s stunning, and most importantly- it’s spooky. 

Yields: 6-8 cocktails  
Ingredients:
  • 750ml bottle of Red Wine, preferably Merlot [we used Velvet Devil] 

  • 2 cups Pomegranate Juice 

  • 1/4 cup Cointreau or another citrus liqueur 

  • 2-3 Oranges 

  • 2 cups Sparkling Water 

  • Ice 

Directions:
  • Slice oranges and place inside of a pitcher. 

  • Pour red wine, Cointreau, and pomegranate juice over oranges. Mix ingredients together. 

  • Place mixture in the fridge for 4+ hours to chill. 

  • Once removed from the fridge, add sparkling water to pitcher. 

  • Serve over ice, garnish with orange slices.
